LG Electronics Vehicle Component’s Company focuses on commercializing eco-friendly automotive components and core solutions based on LG’s proprietary technologies. LG produces high-quality in-car infotainment systems that deliver both information and entertainment on-the-go for many of the world’s biggest automobile brands. The Vehicle Unit also develops electric compressors for automotive applications, e-traction motors for individual and integrated systems such as drive units and power electronics providing a total solution to meet specific market needs.

The Senior HR Business Partner will be a trusted advisor and partner to Business Leaders, Clients, and other stakeholders. The position leads and facilitates the development of culture and key capabilities for the organization and is responsible for securing and maintaining a productive, diverse and engaged workforce, comprised of the best talent available. Through the design, development and implementation of Human Resources strategies, the Sr. HRBP supports initiatives and associated design and execution in order to achieve business results and sustainable growth. In partnership with the appropriate functional HR areas, the Sr. HRBP drives and deploys integrated local talent management, employee development, compensation, performance management, and organizational transformation and workplace strategies.The Senior HR Business Partner will be a trusted advisor and partner to Business Leaders, Clients, and other stakeholders. In partnership with the appropriate functional HR areas, the Sr. HRBP drives and deploys integrated local talent management, employee development, compensation, performance management, and organizational transformation and workplace strategies.

Responsibilities :

  • Facilitates development of the client group’s integrated people plan and ensures alignment with the strategic plans of the organization.

  • Advises leaders on the implications of short and long-term decisions, strategies, and large-scale change efforts that will yield sustainable business results.

  • Designs discovery process to capture business needs and required capabilities. Partner with senior leaders to design organizational models to reach.

  • Monitors and leverages performance results and recommends improvement opportunities.

  • Assist in rolling out performance management to all managers, employees to ensure that feedback and evaluations are completed on-time, by guidelines for every employee.

  • Develops and implements HR plans, policies, programs, and tools in partnership with business leaders, Centers of Excellence (COEs) to build and enhance organizational capability and add value to the business.

  • Initiates and sustains continuous dialogue with function leaders on both internal and external change issues and opportunities. Facilitates development of change plans and implementation of business transformational initiatives.

  • Analyzes how change can be supported and sustained through redesigned HR strategies, programs, practices, policies, and processes.

  • Plans and promotes the understanding, application, and improvement of strategies to address talent gaps and needs.

  • Works with Talent Management and Talent Acquisition to design and leverage integrated people strategies; enabling the attraction, development, and retention of top talent.

  • Anticipates and facilitates the identification of key business changes and the implementation of those changes to achieve the desired end state as a business.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources with increasing responsibilities.

  • 8+ years’ experience in a client-focused HR Generalist role, including experience as a specialist in one of the following core HR disciplines: talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, employee development.

  • 8+ years’ experience with change management and/or organizational design.

  • 8+ years’ experience coaching and influencing executive level leadership (VP and above)

  • 5+ years' experience in the Automotive Industry (Either for an OEM of Tier 1 or 2 Supplier)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field.

  • An Advanced degree is preferred.
