Position Summary

Under direct supervision in a call center environment, assist factory technicians and 3rd party service providers with troubleshooting and repair of LG products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from LG DMST and authorized service centers in a prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous manner documenting all information into call tracking system.

  • Provide support in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of home electronics/home appliance problems encountered in the maintenance of those products by using general knowledge, product schematics, data stored in knowledge base, and other sources of information available.

  • Work together with internal groups to provide industry leading technical support

  • Provide updates to knowledge database used by service centers and other technical support representatives with new troubleshooting information discovered in the resolution of customer calls.

Education/Experience (related experience)

  • Technical Diploma or Associates Degree in Electronics, HVAC, Electrical or a related field.

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a technical field.

  • Must be proficient in the areas of Technical Support and Customer Service.

  • Organized, focused and detailed-oriented individual with the ability to multi-task and manage time well.

  • Enhanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability and desire to learn new technology and its application
