Our growing company is currently seeking a Facilities Engineering Specialist to join our new and dynamic team in Clarksville, TN as part of the Facility Engineering Team!
The Facilities Engineering Specialist will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system to ensure optimal operating results. The Facilities Engineer provides oversight of system operations, trouble shooting, testing, and minor repairs including: potable water control, boilers, compressors, fire alarm and suppression inspections and tests, HVAC operations, controls adjustments, etc. The Facilities Engineer also assists in evaluating vendor technical performance.
Area of Responsibility :
Understanding mechanical system and managing of basic principles of project management
Managing of all facilities related tasks (HVAC, boilers, compressors, facilities, etc.)
Oversee projects and other facility related tasks
Maintains records and prepares reports
Maintains any compliance related regulations and ensure they also meet LG standards
Ensure safety and professional work standards are met; plan, organize, and prioritize tasks
Coordinate with the Director of Business Administration on the implementation of new building projects
Education Level and/or Relevant Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical, HVAC, mechanical, controls, or other technical maintenance
Basic mechanical and controls for troubleshooting operations
Mechanical maintenance of motors, boiler systems, fire suppression systems, etc.
Good team Dynamics
Knowledge and Skills:
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills (Korean language is preferred)
Basic knowledge of facility system; e.g. mechanical, electrical, pneumatic
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management processes and procedures
Understanding of scope creation and contract bidding processes.
• Some occasional international travel required
