We are currently seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team in Clarksville, TN.

The Environmental Compliance Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks including site Environmental/Health/Safety, Facility Management, General Affairs, and Security. This position will be responsible for overall site environment, health and safety regulations to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Responsible for planning and directing department strategy. Conducts organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses.

Responsibilities:

Environmental Health and Safety:

Manage the process of developing, training, and implementing programs, policies, and procedures that maintain a safe and environmentally friendly work place

Lead internal and external audits; assess operations to assure compliance to all applicable regulations and standards

Advise management of all significant audit findings, adverse events

5.

Measure sites’ performance, identify deficiencies, develop action plan and correct identified deficiencies

Facilities Management:

Manage the process of inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

8.

Managing vendors to include cleaning, security, landscaping, offices supplies and all building related activities

9.

Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs

General Affairs:

Be responsible for all administration activities, ensure sub-contractors’ employees are follow company rules & regulations

Working with Finance Team, establish and implement operation and capital budgets

13.

Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures; supervising the security workforce

Financial Management:

Adheres to yearly budget and carries out the plan to meet that budget

16.

Aligns Innovation team to forecast and reduces labor expense, forecasts, tracks and escalates as necessary

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Environmental Science or related field

7 to 10 years previous management experience

Versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices

5 + years in the EHS field, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Some occasional international travel required
