We are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager in our Distributor sales tea m. The Digital Signage sales professional will develop & manage major named accounts within the Distributor vertical market segment. You will be responsible for cultivating market segment, qualifying & closing major sales opportunities. Manage existing and develop/maintain new executive-level relationships with distributors & resellers
Principal Duties and Responsibilities;
Develop solution sales strategies to expand the LG Electronics digital signage market share within a set of named key Distributor accounts
Participation in the design and execution of the go-to-market strategy with regular tracking and reporting
Accountable for achieving assigned sales revenue & profitability targets quarterly & annually
Weekly observation of pipeline trends with corrective actions and reporting to achieve goals
Managing forecast accuracy and managing product delivery goals with Product Management
Continuous internal reporting including end-user challenges, market information and customer key request
Develop tactics to grow LG market share for large and complex customer businesses through customer relationship management, understanding their opportunities and challenges and developing a business plan that will achieve a win-win for both the customer and LG
Execute sales strategy and monitor customer performance. Review performance data with customers to influence buying and advertising decisions
Liaise with internal groups to provide voice of the customer, expand offerings, plan effective forecasts, product delivery and in-store feedback (i.e., Brand Marketing, Pricing, Promotions and Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Regional Training Managers)
Maintain brand and product knowledge through formal and informal product training, review of product roadmaps and competitive intelligence
Manage schedule and handle administrative tasks with support from Inside Sales team
Job Requirements :
Bachelor Degreeis required in a technical subject or equivalent work experience, MBA Preferred
Minimum of 8 years experience in sales preferably in the large Distributor/TechnologyIndustry (preferred experience in either TV display or solution area of digital signage)
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to travel 50% throughout the U.S
Strong understanding of project and product specifications
Working knowledge of the IT/ProAV distribution ecosystem as well as display technologies including but not limited to:LCD/LED technologies, software and firmware, networking, Cloud Computing and Thin Client
Knowledge in all MS Office Applications (Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent Communication Skills and Presentation skills
Initiative and ability to work in a multicultural environment
Proven technical skills and customer facing sales capabilities
Strong relationship builder,
Outstanding communications skills,
Solid business acumen and thought leadership in sales, marketing, operations, finance and account P&L.
